For the Columbine Lake backpacking trip, the plan is to meet at the Barn this Saturday, July 11th, at 9:00 AM.
The drive is approximately 3 hours. We will hike in on Saturday the 11th, stay overnight, and hike out on Sunday the 12th. We aim to be back by 3:00 PM on Sunday at the barn. The hike is roughly 3.4 miles each way (6.8 miles total) with about 1,100 feet of elevation gain, making it a great option for first-time backpackers.
