Hi troop, at this weeks meeting we will be meeting at the church at 7:00 to prepare for our upcoming campout where we hope to summit Mt. Elbert. There will also be opportunity to sign off any rank advancement.
For the upcoming campout, the troop is trying something new. Instead of using sign-up genius we will be using a google form to handle sign ups.
As for the campout this weekend, scouts have two options. They can either attempt to summit the mountain or they can stay back at camp and hang out at twin lakes. Scouts that choose to summit can also go to the lake after the climb if weather cooperates. Feel free to bring inflatable paddle boards/kayaks or fishing gear for the lake. For this to work, we need 4 adults registered with the troop to attend.
